the tempo glauber center serves the community through the preservation of brazilian artistic memory; the space is used as a research center and for the production of cultural and educational projects of the audiovisual world.

in 2006, the national archive council of brazil acknowledged the public and social importance of tempo glauber, and the center's more than 100,000 printed documents, photos, books, audio recordings and records were cataloged and restored thanks to federal support.
