Catraca Livre (Free Turnstile) has been expertly developed to alleviate these concerns and offer citizens and visitors an illuminating porthole into the effervescent cultural produce pulsing through the city.

An array of programs is recorded on the app, including information on category, location, date, time and pricing.  Users can also set up their own, personal cultural calendar, using the Minha Virada (My Turn) function. An interactive map shows all cultural activities taking place according to the proximity of the user, going from closest to farthest. It also offers users a clear route to each institute or event from their current location.
