the exhibitions have the unique attribute of being contributed to by the indigenous populations themselves, giving them a real sense of authenticity - there are also special areas for younger guests to the museum, with body paints and costumes, whilst for the more serious work of the museum, there are three laboratories dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the memorabilia.
