the
igreja da nossa senhora da conceição
stands as one of the remaining markers of this period, built in
1746, as well as various ruins of the grand houses that were
built in this era.
nowadays it has transformed into a small
fishing village with some summer homes for vacationers - the
beach stretches to an extensive 760 meters, interrupted in the
middle by the paraty-mirim river.
while there are some beachside bars and
kiosks, they are not always open, so it is worth bringing a
snack or checking beforehand.
