amongst the many natural attractions within the park, one of its biggest draws is the view from the park's lookout point, which encompasses many of the greatest landmarks of the region, including the piratininga and itaipú lagoons, the são francisco beach, jurujuba and jurujuba beach, charitas and icaraí neighborhoods, as well as the guanabara bay, and the iconic rio-niterói bridge.

in the distance, it is possible to see the peaks along the shore of rio de janeiro city, including the pão de açúcar (sugar loaf), the morro dois irmãos, and the cagarras islands. in addition to the view, there is also a beautiful natural water fountain, surrounded by the lush atlantic forest.
