they are suitable for a variety of activities, such as hiking, rock climbing, and hang gliding, amongst many more and, crammed full of dense atlantic forest, they are bustling with life, as the exotic flora and fauna of the region crowd the slopes, from their feet to their peaks. within the park, there are over 50 mountains, hills and peaks, all with varying heights, trails, and vegetation, many with their own trademak activities as well.

some of the smallest peaks in the park include, the morro do inglęs at a modest 188 meters, and the morro do bacia, at 226 meters, both are quite manageable for hiking novices. whereas the highest peaks propose a significantly bigger challenge, such as the bico do papagaio at a staggering 989 meters, or the highest peak in the park, the pico da tijuca at a vertigo-inducing 1,021 meters above sea level. arrow-back     arrow-forward
