Porcăo Flamengo is one of the most celebrated and traditional of these restaurans, located in an idyllic spot on the seafront in arterro do flamengo, with beautiful views of Sugar Loaf Mountain and the surrounding emerald waters of the bay.
The restaurant offers ten different meat cuts, amongst which are chorizo, filé mignon and Picanha - a true Brazilian specialty. These meats are accompanied by a wonderfully diverse and sumptuous buffet which contains antipastis, vegetables, rice, cold meat cuts, cheeses, salads, seafood, meat and poultry dishes, as well and an ample selection of sushi. The trick is not to fill oneself up too much on the buffet sides, because the real magic lies in the meat.
