located in the city's famous tijuca national park, pedra bonita has a maximum altitude of 696 meters, giving it some of the most spectacular views of the city.

it takes about 30 minutes of hiking through forest trails to reach the summit, so it is not the spot for a lazy picnic but, once at the top, visitors will find several cleared areas covered with grass to settle down and enjoy the views.
