barra music is a new 6500 capacity venue located in barra da tijuca, which is in the west zone of the city. it is open from thursday through to monday until the very small hours of the morning.

inside, an enormous 30 meter stage fills the venue with two large screens either side, so guests don't miss any of the action. barra music boasts the latest technology in sound and lighting.

the rest of the venue is just as impressive, and is made up of three areas, the downstairs stage area, an upper level which has access to a select outdoor area and vip areas.

this place is fun and commercial and good for those wanting an unpretentious night out.
