bossa nossa bar e restaurante is located in jacarepaguá in the west zone of rio de janeiro. as the name suggests it is a restaurant and bar which also hosts live music. it is owned by the brazilian singer jorge aragăo. this restaurant chains origins are proudly carioca, and this is evident from the menu to the music visitors will experience here. the menu is fairly extensive and very traditional. all the well known carioca favorites can be enjoyed such as bolinho de bacalhau (cod balls) and shrimps in garlic and oil, as well as an impressive selection of meat and stuffed potatoes!
