while the wines may make the place famous, it is equally tempting to sit down for a proper meal, as the menu is chock full of rich delicacies that beg to be tried with dishes such as carpaccio, turkish figs, polenta, lamb, and risotto, among a series of other popular dishes - the menu maintains a french and italian theme, yet each dish is prepared with a brazilian flair.

the place is open from monday to friday nine to midnight, and sundays from noon until five - the restaurant has also opened three other locations in the city, two in barra and one in leblon's shopping mall, with all this in mind, as well as the special prix-fixe options during lunch hour, it is hard to resist at least a quick stop at this charming bistrô.

the restaurant offers a careful and diverse selection of bottles to purchase and enjoy at home that it has been recognized various times for its wine list, including prizes from rio show gastronomia and agua na boca in both barra and in leblon - there are range surprisingly affordable table wines available for wine enthusiast on a budget.   arrow-back      arrow-forward
