NOT DONE - gafieira elite is an corner red, colonial house, historically in the 1930s it used to be a dance hall called the elite club - pioneer in the sense that it has kept its original purpose till today, which is providing a space for young cariocas and music lovers to dance the night away, with many significant artistic visitors within the media industry, including but not limited to films, soap operas and music.

the venue maintains its image with, thin, tall wooden doors greeting you to walk up the wooden staircase to take you to the wooden dance floor and a wooden mezzanine overlooking the main dance floor - is nowadays decorate with black and white pictures of important musical figures and large fans.

notable parties to look out for are to morro land (funk party), mistério do planeta (brazilian hits), tropicaos (northeast music),cadê tereza (mpb) and bacaníssima (brazilian classics and rock).
