ponto da bossa nova is a lively bar is located in a good spot in the heart of bustling copacabana.

the snacks are a big highlight of the venue and their bolinhos de bacalhau (cod balls) and halloumi with honey and oregano dishes are famous. it is worth a visit here for those alone.

the snacks can be washed down with an ice cold draft beer, a caipirinha or one of the unique house cocktails, perhaps the pearl harbour? (vodka, melon liqueur and pineapple juice)

if visitors are after live music then a good day to attend is either a tuesday or saturday, where customers can either sit inside, amongst the wood lined walls or watch the world go by from one of the tables outside.   arrow-back      arrow-forward
