santo scenarium, located in downtown rio, was a police station before it became a traditional bohemian bar and restaurant. it is owned by the same people as rio scenarium the famous samba venue on the same street. the religious decor inside is somewhat eccentric and elaborate, the centre piece being a huge angel hanging from the ceiling. the food is traditional cuisine, and ranges from full meals to brazilian tapas, guests should expect posh pastels and kibe.
