the charismatic, raul seixas, who was originally from the more northern city, salvador, and by virtue of his first band, the panthers, in 1968, travelled to rio, not aware would be highly influential in spreading rock music to the marvelous city - the band didn't achieve the success that he had desired, which moved raul away from the city, but a couple of years later, in 1970, he returned, to begin a musical journey that would result in him becoming one of the most influential brazilian rock musicians of the century - raul spent much of his musical career in rio, with his style sometimes compared to the legendary american singer, bob dylan.
