Volunteers can choose from a variety of different themed program offerings, including arts and design, environment, health education, sports, child development, ESL, and alternative spring breaks for those who are traveling for a shorter period of time.

The ngo also creates a program for anyone interested in a seasonal exchange during samba season, which runs roughly from November to February.  

Volunteers help make the costumes at one of the major samba schools in the city, and in the process practice their Portuguese and experience one of the richest traditions within Brazilian musical culture.
