the guesthouse pousada das rosas is a wonderful mid-level option with many amenities and an incredibly homey feel - the pool is filled with sourced water and the sauna and steam room call to all with aches in their bones - for recreation there is foosball, ping pong and snooker.

the bar in this guesthouse is stocked for the discerning palate and has wines from italy, argentina, chile and portugal while their whiskey selection ranges from 10 to 25 year old labels - this would be a wonderful place to enjoy a single malt scotch while playing a game of chess with a good friend.

later on it's possible to hang out in the guesthouses own disco complete with fog machines and lights, the establishment is also well suited for children - it has a stimulating and educational space for them to spend time if the natural beauty of the surroundings doesn't keep them enchanted enough, there is also a barbecue grill for those that would like to grill up a little taste of heaven for dinner.
