the beauty of the mountain region draws art lovers from around the world - the event boasts a plethora of activities from musical concerts, theatre shows and exhibitions featuring art, technology, cinema and literature, as well as workshops, discussions and lectures.

all of this is done with the goal to inspire and draw both visitors and locals as well as established artist and up-and-comers - each year the winter festival has a specific theme for the various art forms to center around, and it is often held at the town country club where people can enjoy the landscaping of auguste glaziou and the cozy climate of the friburgo winter.

the festival also seeks to have a zero carbon footprint by calculating all carbon emissions of the events and offsetting them by planting native species of plants of the atlantic forest in the region - tickets are not free, but food, accommodation and tour guides are included with entry.
