recently opened in 2005, pousada guaraná was built by brazilian architect juli corrêa and is run by his daughter and husband - jimena and david. the design hinges on rustic elements, such as exposed wooden beams, together with artistic touches including stained glass and coloured cement.

ten cozy rooms are available within, each with a high ceiling and original decorations from the world over - many rooms also afford views over the stunning garden, rich in fauna and nature.

there is also an enclosed area for parking, bikes to borrow, wifi access, air conditioning and all rooms come with a private bathroom complete with hot shower.
