praia do cemitério (cemetery beach)  offers calm shallow waters with easy access by foot from the center of the city - on the horizon, small fishing boats from the local fishemen's colony colônia z22 can be seen, along the wooden pier or at the mouth of the river of oysters (rio das ostras), which is the best place to watch the sunset.

parque natural municipal dos pássaros (municipal nature park for birds) it is maintained to protect and preserve the areas diverse species -  visitors can observe the birds and the park's other fauna and flora native to this region.

this park is an excellent hiking spot for anyone visiting the city, especially recommended for a family outing - bird park has an extensive 8 hectares of protected coral reefs that are populated by many forms of life and is preserved by  mata atlântica.
