the conversion project was undertaken with the preservation of the original architecture in mind, so the building has kept much of its original charm, most notably its beautiful marble columns, and dazzling glass dome at its center.

its fine structure, spanning across 7 thousand square meters, is comprised of a four exhibition rooms, three theatres, a museum, a cinema, and a library, which combined put on an eclectic mix of shows, films, exhibitions, debates, workshops and concerts.

there are temporary exhibitions on display on the first and second floors, whilst the museum on the sixth floor holds the center's permanent exhibition, which is one of the most revered in the city.
