the 50 meters or so of sand at posto 9 are now synonymous with the hip and trendy, and this became the most sought after beach spot along rio's sandy coastline.    spending time at posto 9 is not only refreshing and hip, but also a dip into some of rio's most beautiful modern history and traditions.
