the museums houses a large variety of historical items, including documents, oil paintings, coins, stamps, furniture, weapons, sculptures and silverware. some of the impressive displays include a greek and roman coin collection, a full sized recreation of a colonial pharmacy which was founded in 1847 and existed until 1983, the writing quill which princess isabel used to sign the document abolishing slavery, and a selection of no longer in use items such as old typewriters and analogue cameras.
