situated in the cosme velho neighborhood, the museu internacional de arte naïf (miaf) is worldwide the largest and most comprehensive collection of naïf art -that is, art produced by creators with no training or connection to any school or tradition -with more than 8,000 such works.

the museum includes a coffee shop, where one can purchase pieces by various artists in addition to naïf literature and objects. miaf is open from 10 am to 6 pm tuesday through friday and 10 am to 5 pm on weekends.
