at the end of a short trail, fine white sand meets turquoise crystalline waters creating a paradise almost always empty of tourists, especially during low season.

praia grande is located in a huge bay 3km from the centre of arraial do cabo and offers 40km of fine, white sand and plentiful sand dunes which are covered in coastal vegetation.          

the water is clear and cold, dropping as low as 8 degrees celsius at certain times of the year, due to a resurgence phenomenon.
