the park pays respect to the composers of the iconic song -antônio carlos jobim (music) and vinícius de moraes (lyrics). the park was once the locale of the circo voador, one of the most important live music venues in rio de janeiro, that is now located in lapa. over the years a variety of the best brazilian singers and composers performed in this very spot.
