the centre was created to study the landscape and eco-system of the marapendi lagoon and offers technical consultations, workshops on recycling, art exhibitions, video presentations, and teacher training.

furthermore, the cea offers guided tours of the park led by experts ready to offer their skill in finding and identifying rare wildlife.
