the site is open to the public - for a small fee guests are given access to the interior and exterior parts of the fort, which includes the control center, the armory of ammunition, power station, and massive 280mm guns, amongst much more.

the path to the fort is a pleasant cobblestone road. to reach the peak of the mountain, there is a well laid out wooden track, which takes visitors from the beach all the way to the top. the hike is considered one of the easiest in the city, lasting about 40 minutes, and taking participants to an altitude of 150 meters.
