an important area of environmental protection, the parque natural municipal paisagem carioca links three of the city's most iconic hills - the morro do leme, the morro do babilônia and the morro são joão. initiated as an area of reforestation, in 1995, the park now has some fabulous natural vegetation, which attracts visitors from all around.

the park is a very popular hiking location, with many trails leading up the mountains and stunning views that include copacabana beach, the corcovado mountain and christ the redeemer statue  ● map ● more ●
