Cariocas have integrated a whole host of foods from all over the world into their culinary spread, perhaps none more ardently than Italian. Capricciosa is thought to be one of the very best pizza restaurants in the city, importing much of its ingredients from Italy.

They have a wide array of traditional and inventive pizzas, amongst which popular favorites include: Tosacano D. o. p, a Tuscan artisanal sausage, pork loin, leeks and fresh oregano and Buziano, which contains buffalo mozzarella, shrimp, parmesan and zucchini. They also offer pizzas without tomato sauce, or without cheese, and calzones, as well as a host of pasta and risotto dishes.
