Some of the more active and adventurous couples may want to opt to hike up the mountain for an adrenalin kick. The trail starts at Praia Vermelho, weaving under the pleasant shade of trees it is not terribly strenuous, although a little steep, it can easily be completed in one hour, with the splendid reward of the romantic panoramic view awaiting at the top.
