pedra de arpoador (arpoador rock) is famous for one thing in particular -  being one of the best places to watch the most spectacular sun set in rio de janeiro. as the sun lowers in the sky, cariocas and visitors alike flock from all around the city to marvel at the sight of the city as it glistens in the fading light of dusk.
