at a glance

the menu boasts several dishes made with cod, various cuts of meat, poultry, and other fish and there is a wide selection of snacks and sandwiches from the bar - each day a number of different specials are cooked up but the chicken baked with pirăo and white beans, the oxtail with potatoes, watercress, and polenta, and the tripe with white beans, are very much recommended - all very much traditional brazilian cuisine.

as mentioned, the feijoada is a firm favorite of the locals, cooked with dried pork and ribs in a thick broth of beans, it comes in a huge serving dish which can be share between a group of up to six - the accompanying crackling and cabbage are also delicious. arrow-back      arrow-forward
