depósito gourmet is located inside fashionable rio design barra in barra da tijuca. opened in december 2011, it's taken little to no time for this winery and restaurant to become a hot spot at rio design barra.

from the outside, deposito gourmet looks like a wine store or deli, but inside it is very much a restaurant, with an emphasis on simple, sophisticated dishes -  located right at the heart of the shopping center, sophisticated barras shoppers can dine on duck, lamb, steak or exotic meats such as pheasant and partridge while drinking fine wines imported from all over europe.

the wine cellar has over 400 titles and more than 80 imported beer labels - some of the most requested wines are parcela 7 and 1865 carmenère, from chile, carmelo rodero crianza 2008 from spain and oreno supertoscano 2008 from italy.
