circo voador is also a musical site with a fascinating history - translated as the 'flying circus', it began as a parade of musician and artists, in 1982 that ended by pitching a huge blue and white tent for the participants to perform and after three months, the authorities disbanded that tent, which was met by protests from participants of the movement, and led to them being giving the plot that is today, circo voador - although it has faced many changes over the years, the venue stands today as one of the major concert venues in the city, with a capacity of up to 2,000 people. here is a list of venues one can go to for live music on a saturday. | by night | |||
