Founded in 1967 in the city of São Paulo, is a non-profit organization that is committed to strengthening the financial system and its relationship with society, and contributing to the economic, social and sustainable development of the country.

The aim of the Federation is to represent its members at all levels of government - executive, legislative and judicial branches, to improve the regulatory system, services and reduction of risk levels - It also seeks to grow population's access to financial products and services.
