as far as small entrepreneurial ventures go, there are
three types of businesses in Brazil

Sole Proprietorship
(empresário
individual), the
Limited Liability Company
- llc (empresa
individual de responsabilidade limitada - EIRELI), and the
Limited Liability
Partnership - llp (sociedade
limitada).
Regardless of the structure of the business all three share
some common factors and requirements.
A business is classified
as a Microempresa (Microenterprise) if its annual revenues are
less than R$ 360,000.
