the offerings start december 4th, celebrationg the orixá Iansã - day of saint barbara, the queen of rays and warrior goddess il light of her combattive spirit, known not to abadon her sons in battle.

december 8th is the day dedicated to the orisha Mãe Oxum (mother oshun), on th day of the saint Nossa Senhora da Conceição (our lady of conception) - this is the day the christman tree is decorated and offerings made to the saint worshipped as the goddess of wealth, fertility, and love that can make love moorings and pregnancies happen like no other orisha.
