In 1910 the Faculdade Batista do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FABERJ) was founded and even if it was oriented to basic, primary and technical learning, it would give way to the creation of the Faculdade Batista de Campos, later renamed: Faculdade Batista do Rio de Janeiro.

Nowadays, it offers three options for technical majors and eight options for post graduate, and it plans to continue its growth, responding directly to the expansion of the professional and educational market evident in Brazil and in Rio de Janeiro's region particularly.
