UNISUAM offers more than 50 educational opportunities, for pre graduate, post graduate or doctorate degrees, in its 4 locations on the carioca area: Bonsucesso, Campo Grande, Bangu and jacarepaguá - Ranging in several sciences: human, biological, health, social and specialties in physics and mathematics, the trajectory of this university is long and highly regarded.

In 1970, when its first faculty was founded in Bonsucesso, it begun to receive its first students, and in 1997 it became the first University Center in Brazil. The social aspect has been a key value in the development of this organism, and there are several programs to benefit the communities with educational or practical activities, supervised by professors of each faculty.

There are seven nucleus that receive alumni and members of other institutions, as well as the community in general, to tend to physical, mental or cultural needs and expand the impact that this center has in the region.
