ismar tirelli neto forms a part of the emergence of young poets out of brazil who are making a name for themselves independent of the historical and social movements that until now, have characterized brazilian poetry and music.

born in 1985 in rio de janeiro, neto is the author of two books, synchronoscopio, published in 2007, and ramerrão in 2011. he has also been published in various literary magazines, including in modo de usar & co., polichinello and jacket2, and has presented at several poetry symposiums in são paulo and rio de janeiro.
