and while miniature boats carrying flowers and wishes sail into the waves, enormous cruise ships start to appear on the horizon - luxurious floating palaces staring silent at the small lights twinkling all along the beach.  

the magic is felt everywhere, and thousands of revelers commence to crowd the sands in all-white outfits, many carrying flowers, other just holding hands.

in a moment, the entire beach becomes a surreal mixture of suggestive african ceremonies, revelers like white angels, candles glowing the sand from within, and foreign giants floating at sea.

as the night progresses, musical bands arrive, lights go on, all windows along the shore illuminate, and music starts to beat.

the sky gets dark, and with more and more people flowing toward the shore, the tension grows into anxious anticipation of one of the greatest shows on earth, and a night no one will ever forget.
