Biblioteca Parque da Rocinha (Rocinha Park Library) is an extensive and diverse library nestled in the community of Rocinha. The collection includes 13,513 items, including DVDs, art books, comics and Braille texts. The space is made up of a children's library, theater, literary café, and cooking school kitchen.

The establishment is equipped with free internet, a DVD library, main room and multi-purpose center. It runs an eclectic and socially engaging program of lectures, talks, debates, course and workshops, making the organization more than simply a library.

Once a month the library holds an Encontro de Educação e Leitura (Education and Reading Meeting), in which teachers and students from the favels of Rocinha develop initiatives and practices relating to teaching, which will benefit the lives of those living in the community.
