Maison de France is the name given to The Biblioteca/Mediateca (Library/Media Library) in the Casa Europa (European House.) it is home to a collection of 30,000 physical documents, including books, journal subscriptions, DVDs, CDs and comics as well as internet access to more than 400 journals and 3,000 e-books on the Humanities and Social Sciences in French.

It maintains an active social agenda, with varied programs which are particularly focused on the areas of Art, Literature and Reading, and the Humanities. Book launches, conferences, debates, exhibitions and seminars are held regularly throughout the year.

The Media Library is also responsible for running an initiative called Culturethèque, a digital content platform in which users can access e-books, newspapers, magazines, documentaries, music, movies and academic journals by simply creating an account and logging in from their personal computer, so long as they are members of the Maison de France library.
