the leblon lookout, on the western side of leblon beach, is a great place to watch beautiful sunsets, take photos and is one of the must-see spots on the tourist trail of rio de janeiro. the belvedere is basically a small wooden boardwalk with two kiosks selling natural fruit juices and coconut milk and small parking lot for guests.

the viewpoint is an especially popular place with sport fishermen, who can often be seen sitting on stools beside the guardrail, throwing out their lines and whiling away the afternoon.
