The Porch is constituted of an Exhibition hall displaying a sample of military material used by Brazilian soldiers, as well as seized German material, an interior garden comprised of a rectangular lawn, and two low walls symbolizing two important rivers in battle, Serchio and Reno.

finally, the monument is home to eight triangles inscribed with the names of major battles, a peaceful lake, and ceramic panels honoring merchant marines. the Underground section is comprised of a mausoleum, where the remains of the 466 Brazilian soldiers were laid to rest, as well as the Hall of Marshal Mascarenhas de Moraes, which contains a record of the force's plans, routes and activities in Italy.
