at a glance

the complete absence of commercial developments, and its strong waves in shallow waters, make it a favorite among surfers as well.

at one end of the beach is a giant buoy that fell from a passing ship and washed up on the shore and has since been painted by local artists.

near the buoy is a freshwater stream that drains water from the marshes further inland - not advisable for drinking, but definitely handy for washing off the sea salt on hot days.

a short hike through the forest is required to get to the beach, about 20 minutes of medium difficulty. arrow-back     arrow-forward
