it is one of the most stunning beaches in the region, and is often used as a 'postcard' for the island. its name, 'adventurer', derives from the fact that in order to arrive at the beach, one must either trek overland from provetá beach or traverse rock-filled waters by boat, if possible at all.

the adventurous are rewarded on arrival with 600 meters of fine, beautiful sand, an outstanding view of the surrounding mountains and an environment of total peace and serenity.
