almost exclusively inhabited by fishermen, it is from this area that most of the seafood served on the island is caught and sold, and of course the zone is also popular with nature lovers.

situated near dois rios cove, cachadaço beach is one of the smallest beaches on the island, with around 50 feet of total length.

it is also considered one of the most beautiful and deserted,  which is to say, completely untouched by humans - the beach is ringed on both sides by large rock formations, adding to its rugged charm.
