at a glance

the area is not particularly developed, as there are only some kiosks scattered along the promenade, and no additional sporting facilities as they have become popular in many of rio's beaches.

behind the beach only small houses, and some dirt roads, make up an area that is certainly destined to be developed into a beautiful and sophisticated neighborhood.

there is a bicycle path, but no public restrooms, and life guards are only on duty near the two extremities of the beach. the beach is very long, therefore it is almost never very crowded, exception made perhaps for the two most outer sections of the beach, particularly the west side, which tends to get busier. arrow-back     arrow-forward
